Welcome to Obedience Unleashed

Our Obedience Bootcamp for dogs class is for beginners or experienced dog owners looking to build a strong relationship with their dog and practice obedience in a group setting. In this session the following skills and topics will be covered:  

• Engagement: How to gain your dog’s focus and attention
• Loose leash walking
• Clicker training
• Sit/down/come commands
• Working through distractions
• Place command
• Recall (teaching your dog to come when called)
•  … and much more  

During each class we have periods of Q&A, during these periods we try to cover some of the following topics and we encourage owners to bring their own questions:

-Dog reactivity

-Feeding, nutrition

-Grooming and handling of the feet

-Jumping up – how to properly greet people

-Dog and child safety

-Dog socialization

This class is designed for dogs between the age of 7 months and 10 years of age.
