We are members of the International Association of Canine Professionals, an organization established to maintain the highest professional and business standards among canine Professionals. We are bonded/insured, covered by WCB and have successfully completed K9 First Aid courses. All of our trainers commit to a minimum of 40 hours of ongoing professional education per year to improve their dog training skills and better serve you.

Andy Krzus

Founder and CEO

Andy is a dog-training educator known for his relationship-centered training approach and his personalized teaching style. His background in psychology and public service coupled with years of experience training police, search & rescue and assistance dogs gives him an innovative perspective on dog obedience, behaviour & motivation in theory and practice. Marie Therese Krzus

Office Manager

Marie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and she handles everything from telephone calls and bookkeeping to scheduling and kennel management, on top of being a full-time mom. She particularly enjoys speaking with clients on the phone and assisting with any questions they may have in her cheerful and professional manner.

Jill Henry

Chilliwack Head-Trainer

Jill is a passionate dog-training advocate with 13 years of experience in the field. Complimented by a successful background in business, her ongoing dog- training education in Canada and internationally, has provided her with a unique set of teaching skills. Clients praise her ability to form an immediate connection with their dogs and obtain superb training results.

Maureen Mancinelli

Merritt Trainer

Maureen is a professional dog trainer with over 9 years of experience in the field. Complimented by a successful background in competitive agility, her ongoing dog-training education under world renowned trainers such as Michael Ellis, has provided her with a unique set of teaching skills.

Kevin Smith

Kennel Attendant

Kevin is a great asset to our team with his charming personality and sense of humour. He brings 20+ years of experience in the customer service industry, operating his own business. Kevin is an avid dog lover and pet owner – he joined Obedience Unleashed Dog Training Inc. to pursue his passion of working with dogs.

Elyssa Phillipson

Part-time Chilliwack Trainer

Elyssa has a great love for animals, hoping to one day have a large farm full of them. She brings 8 years of experience working in the dog boarding/daycare industry. Her passion for health and fitness led her to complete BCRPA certification to become a personal trainer followed by studies in Kinesiology at UFV. Elyssa is a certified FitPaws Master Trainer and loves to teach people how to maintain a healthy lifestyle for themselves and their dogs, focusing on both fitness and injury prevention.

Melissa Johnson

Full-time Professional Trainer

Melissa is a full time professional dog trainer working at our Mission location. She teaches the majority of our group obedience classes and works closely with the dogs in our Board & Train program. She has completed her dog training certification through Obedience Unleashed Dog Training Inc., and is currently studying a degree in psychology at UFV. Melissa brings 4 years of experience working in the dog training/boarding industry, plus 7 years of working with horses. She is very passionate about training dogs in our Service Dog Program and is currently volunteering her time to raise a puppy for the program.

Daymon & Heidi

Kamloops Staff

Daymon is a professional dog trainer who enjoys meeting with clients for free behavioural consultations to tailor training to their needs. He provides a professional atmosphere and believes training with your dog should be fun and exciting. Heidi is the foundation of the services at Obedience Unleashed – Kamloops.
