Puppy Class
Our Chilliwack / Abbotsford puppy class is designed to help puppies and their owners get off to the right start in training. You will learn to communicate effectively with your puppy to ensure a healthy and long lasting relationship. Join us for 5 one-hour classes that will cover everything you need to know to help your puppy’s development of important life skills.
Is your puppy demonstrating unwanted behaviours such as jumping on guests, nipping at ankles, chewing on household items, digging and running away from you? In this class you will learn the following:
- Housebreaking, potty training & crate training
- Feeding, nutrition
- Chewing, play biting and teething
- Grooming and Nail clipping (handling of the feet)
- Engagement – getting your puppy’s attention
- Jumping – how to properly greet people
- Sit, down & basic obedience exercises
- Basic concepts of luring, heeling & loose leash walking
- Dog and Child Safety
- Recall games
- Dog greeting etiquette
Puppies must have their basic vaccinations to attend the class. This is a very popular class with a limit of 8 dogs and fills up quickly. Please call now to book your spot.
